Know Before You Go

Check-in time at the Royalton CHIC Cancún is at 3:00 PM. You should have received email communication from Jaunts and Gems with an attachment showing your resort confirmation number for check in. Upon check-in one person in your room will need to provide a card for incidentals. All people in the room will need to provide your passport at check-in. Please email info@jauntsandgems.com for any questions concerning confirmations. 

You can also look up your reservation and complete Pre-Check in to the Royalton CHIC Resort directly. 

You should have received email communication from Jaunts and Gems about your shuttle from the airport to the resort. Please email info@jauntsandgems.com for any questions concerning airport transfers. 

All attendees will be receiving messages sent via mass texts for notices and updates throughout the weekend. There is also am option to join our TAFW GroupMe for informal conversation. We'll be using both for reminders and other pertinent information about the events we have planned for TAFW 2024.

NOTE: You should have received from Jaunts and Gems Travel with the subject "Texas AF Weekend Updates". This email provides information on how to join the TAFW GroupMe.

Temperatures will be in the 70s/80s throughout the duration of our trip. Clouds and some rain are also forecasted. In the event of inclement, all schedule changes, modification and/or cancelations will be communicated via email and TAFW GroupMe chat. Be sure to check the weather leading up to your departure so you can know what to pack! 

 Travel insurance is not included in the package, but it is highly recommended. You can get a quote on travel insurance in the link below.

You can find a multitude of packing lists online for international vacations, such as this one. Everyone’s needs are different, so make sure you pack items that you know are necessary for you! Just don’t forget your passport, flight info, swimsuit(s), sepia outfit for our dinner party, and all your meds!
